Addendum

O.k. So I walk into work yesterday and who should come along but the gal who is leaving for further education.
"Marni," she said, "I made one of these for everyone as a farewell gift, and I'd like you to have one too". Then she handed me the gift.
It was a recipe book that she'd compiled!
"Wow!" I said "What a wonderful idea! That's so cool! Thank you so much!"

Heh, heh, heh!

Her farewell party is on Monday. I wonder if she will like her gift?!

Too Funny!! I'ld send you my favorite recipe, but who knows where it exactly is. Ususally its the one my friend has just made and shared. I am certain your co-worker will love her going away gift. Does she know that further education really doesn't allow for much time in the kitchen? Better not tell her. Have fun!

Isn't he just the sweetest thing? Those dark eyes turned blue and the black hair turned blond, and too quickly, this little guy grew taller than his dad and me. I decided to make March my month to release the expired. So far...   I have thrown out all makeup with less than one drop in the bottom of the jar.    I finally dumped the cauliflower in cheeze sauce I made for Christmas dinner.      I threw out the Pepto Bismol from 2010 - not even opened. It feels good to be rid of them.  It also makes me happy that I won't have to worry about bacteria in old makeup   And that my husband won't get sick from my cooking    And that my health has been good enough not to need the Pepto Bismol at all. Inspired by these events, I went through my closets. It is almost time to swap the winter for the summer.  My winter clothes seemed to have stood the test of time for now.  However, my shoes were showing major signs of wear.  I decided on two pairs that I need to say "Farewell" to.
