Out With the Old...In with the New
"Fast away the old year passes." It certainly has. "Fa. la. la."
It has been a year of settling in.
There were grey days, and days of beauty.
There were projects started; some were completed, and some were put on hold.
There were connections made. Some will be long-term; others will be added to the memory bank for occasional future reference, but will be brought out to enjoy - like hosting the Japanese students.
Once again, I am reminded to 'seize the day'. Life is uncertain (eat dessert first). There are no promises and no guarantees. Each day is a gift and in 2012 I will endeavour to unwrap the gift and make the most of what I've been given. Happy New Year, everyone!
