"NO! NO! Go ahead! I don't mind! "

For those of you who have been wondering what happened to me, why I haven't written anything for days on end, this is my explanation.

Eighteen year olds have an inordinate need to sit in front of the computer for hours on end, staring at the screen. You can ask them politely for time to check your emails, and they may give you a window of opportunity, but don't expect them to allow you unfettered time to sort through your thoughts on a blog post.

So I have been relegated to practicing "NO! NO! Go ahead! I don't mind!"

I have all these thoughts ruminating in my head. But I can't blog-on-demand. It takes time to post. So if I have only a couple of minutes, I default to checking up on all the people who want me to know that I can 'work at home. just click here'.

Well, tonight, I have a little bigger window. And in a perfect world, this post would be much longer. But I'm out of practice. I need more time to get my thoughts in order. However, I need sleep more. So I will have to sneak in and post at another time. Stay tuned More later. As soon as he's not looking.

Isn't he just the sweetest thing? Those dark eyes turned blue and the black hair turned blond, and too quickly, this little guy grew taller than his dad and me. Today, it is eighteen years since that bright, blue-skies February morning when he made his debut. It has been eighteen years of many wonderful memories. I decided to make March my month to release the expired. So far...   I have thrown out all makeup with less than one drop in the bottom of the jar.    I finally dumped the cauliflower in cheeze sauce I made for Christmas dinner.      I threw out the Pepto Bismol from 2010 - not even opened. It feels good to be rid of them.  It also makes me happy that I won't have to worry about bacteria in old makeup   And that my husband won't get sick from my cooking    And that my health has been good enough not to need the Pepto Bismol at all. Inspired by these events, I went through my closets. It is almost time to swap the winter for the summer.  My winter clothes seemed to have stood the test of time for now.  However, my shoes were showing major signs of wear.  I decided on two pairs that I need to say "Farewell" to.
