Overheard


So today, I was in the bookstore. I was supposed to pick up a book that I had ordered for a gift. I try to avoid going into bookstores too often because they become the "$100" stores. But, inspite of myself, I began to look around - picking up various books and reading the middle of them to see if I liked the writing. As I was perusing a book in the "women's interest" section, I tuned into a conversation between the sales guy and a customer. Obviously, the customer was trying to find a book on a particular subject in a particular section. The sales guy was trying to help him. Then he said "Oh you won't find it here....psychology is a mess."

Not only is Psychology in a mess, but Clutter IS a mess. And so far, Clutter is "way out front in the polls"...

How do we find out the results??

I don't know how to access the results of the last poll, and the competitive part of me wants to know that the same thing that I like least in housekeeping is what others like least as well. Misery likes company ;-)

Isn't he just the sweetest thing? Those dark eyes turned blue and the black hair turned blond, and too quickly, this little guy grew taller than his dad and me. Freedom

I decided to make March my month to release the expired. So far...   I have thrown out all makeup with less than one drop in the bottom of the jar.    I finally dumped the cauliflower in cheeze sauce I made for Christmas dinner.      I threw out the Pepto Bismol from 2010 - not even opened. It feels good to be rid of them.  It also makes me happy that I won't have to worry about bacteria in old makeup   And that my husband won't get sick from my cooking    And that my health has been good enough not to need the Pepto Bismol at all. Inspired by these events, I went through my closets. It is almost time to swap the winter for the summer.  My winter clothes seemed to have stood the test of time for now.  However, my shoes were showing major signs of wear.  I decided on two pairs that I need to say "Farewell" to.
